From a young age, I had a passion for acting, which, after completing a higher professional education (HBO) degree, resulted in many plays. I then chose a different profession, working as a social worker in mental healthcare. I thoroughly enjoyed it. After retirement, I rekindled my passion: I attended the Rotterdam drama school for a year and am now a student at the NAVB (Netherlands Institute for Visual Arts) as an on-camera actor. After all, my passion for acting originated in film, and I enjoy every minute of it.
