Charlotte Kloosterman

Charlotte (born 1985, The Hague) actually wanted to become an actress after playing in the final musical of group 8. Nevertheless, she first went to study PABO at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. After several years in education, she felt the need to further develop her creativity. She went to study at Toneelschool De Trap in Amsterdam (2014-2018) and retrained to become an actress.
In recent years she has played in several stage productions. She has performed at the Amsterdam Fringe Festival several times. She is currently performing in the productions ANTI and Dwars with the Rotterdam company De Classics. She also plays a regular role in the AVROTROS/NPOZapp series Brugklas as Mrs. Manuhuwa.
To expand her field of work even more, Charlotte studied at the Film Actors Academy Amsterdam (Faaam) Level 3 (2020-2021). She is currently taking the ongoing Chubbuck class with Romy Irene. Last year she played in the pilot episode of the NPOZapp/NTR series 'Rahki en Peppe.' She could be seen as Tess Ooster in 'Flikken Maastricht' and as Sonja in the KRO-NCRV film 'About a pastor in rain boots.' This film won the talent award at the Dutch Film Festival. She also played a leading role in the short film 'Push.'
Crawling into someone else's skin over and over again. Discovering, experiencing, feeling and living through a character over and over again is the main motivation for her to play. Living dozens of lives at the same time in one life, how beautiful is that?
