As I have a background in stand-up comedy, I prefer playing funny, dramatic, creepy or other roles/characters with different emotions, crazy mimicry and unusual physical appearances. I am specialized in use of voices, accents, and dialects, which resulted in recent voice-acting work. As I can speak different languages, my use of voices, accents and dialects is not limited to Dutch. Besides speaking Dutch with regional accents (Northern, Eastern, Southern etc.) as well as minority accents (Surinamese, Turkish, Moroccan/Arabic, Belgian etc.), I could also imitate typical accents in English (e.g.: British, Australian, US, Indian, Jamaican English), French (e.g.: African French), German (e.g. Bayerish/Austrian German ) and (to a lesser extend) in Hindi, Spanish and Japanese. Due to mixed ethnicity my appearance is not typically Dutch (or North-West European). Therefore, I could pass for a Southern European, Latino, West-Asian or North-African person. Besides, I practice martials arts (kendo), badminton, running, athletics, I can draw and paint and I have a twin brother.
