About me

I was born in America and trained as an actor and singer at New York University. I worked in Germany for 23 years in various musicals and I have been in the Netherlands since March 2014. My residence permit runs until 2019. I currently work part-time at Theater Sneek, teach at Musical Theater in Leeuwarden, and am a guest teacher at MUZT in Sneek. I speak English (mother tongue), German and Dutch (I am married to a Dutch person). On my own homepage you will find examples of my performances as a singer (www.markriemer.net). I worked in New York as an extra in films and advertisements.
