Maartje Groenveld

Under the name Maartje Maria I work as a singer, presenter and actress.
I regularly teach in both primary and secondary education. I am trained as a music teacher and give workshops such as: musical, music adventure, singer-songwriting and makey-makey (new media). I work as a theater singing teacher at Hofplein. And I work for Watch That Sound, workshop: 'sound design' (new media). Here we compose and record instant music and sound with images.
What I enjoy very much is designing lessons (series) where music and creativity can arise. I do this for various culture providers. And I provide expertise promotion training to teachers in primary and secondary education with an emphasis on coaching teaching.
My Band: Maria's Hot Rods is a Vintage Music Act. We play Rock'n Roll music from the 50s and Hits of today in a jazzy-smoky-swinging jacket.
As an actress I play in various TV commercials and I do modeling work for different brands. As a presenter I am in theaters to talk to each other about musical evenings or performances.
As a theater maker and performer, I have produced and soloed two of my own children's shows and performed more than 100 times a year.
