Alex van Bergen is an actor and theatre maker. He played the lead role of Erik Hazelhoff in Soldaat van Oranje for a long time, was seen this season as the father of Kruimeltje in Kruimeltje en de Strijd om de Goudmijn and played in the musicals Checkpoint Charlie and Rapunzel.
He also played with various theatre groups such as Het Syndicaat, Bonheur, Teatro Munganga, Theatergroep DOX, the NUT (New Utrecht Theatre) and Studio de Bakkerij.
He was also a permanent theatre maker with the Utrecht location theatre company Als de Beren Komen.
Alex has played guest roles in various television series, regularly does voice-overs and audiobooks and occasionally works as a drama teacher.
